Matthew Ferraton
Matthew Ferraton earned his Master of Arts in History at Cleveland State University in December 2008 and Certificate in Microsoft Networking at Lakeland Community College in 2004.
During graduate school, Matt worked as a research assistant for the Euclid Corridor Oral History Project. While serving the project, Matt collected oral history interviews from individuals and institutional representatives. He also created historic site clips which included digital audio clips, digitized historic photographs and written historic site synopses for the public audience.
In the fall of 2006, Matt served as a research intern at the Western Reserve Historical Society where he worked closely with the museum sports curator to research early twentieth century sports photography and write short synopses to accompany the museum's photograph collection.
During Matt's undergraduate studies, he earned the Plain Dealer Essay contest sponsored by Cleveland State University Department of English for his foreign policy research paper, U.S. Foreign Policy in Iran: 1947-1953.
Matt currently works as a substitute teacher for Fauquier County Public Schools and part time tutor in Virginia.
